Refund policy
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition in which you received it: unworn, unused, with all original tags attached and in its original packaging. You will also need to provide the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return request is approved, we will provide you with a return shipping label together with instructions on how and where to send your package. Items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damaged Items or Order Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you have received the wrong product. We will assess the issue and work to resolve it as quickly as possible.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, including:
- Custom-made or personalized products
We also do not accept returns of hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.

Exchanges
The fastest way to obtain the item you want is to return the original item and, once your return has been approved, place a new order separately.
European Union Right of Withdrawal
If your order is shipped within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without providing any justification.
As stated above, the item must be returned in the same condition in which it was received: unworn, unused, with all original tags attached, in its original packaging, and accompanied by the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return and let you know whether your refund has been approved.
If approved, your refund will be issued automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card provider may require additional time to process and post the refund.

Return Shipping Costs
Returns are free of charge for orders shipped within Italy.
For orders shipped to the rest of the European Union, the return shipping cost is €20. This amount, corresponding to the cost of the return shipment, will be deducted directly from the refund once the returned product has been inspected and approved.
All returned items will undergo a quality inspection upon receipt to verify their condition and compliance with these return conditions. Refunds will only be processed after this inspection has been completed.
If the returned product shows signs of use, wear, damage, or alterations that go beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and fit, Donatello 1978 reserves the right to reduce the refund in proportion to the loss in value or, where the product can no longer be resold as new, to refuse the refund, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
If the refund cannot be approved because the returned product does not comply with the return conditions, the customer may request that the item be shipped back to their address. In this case, the cost of the return shipment, amounting to €20, will be borne entirely by the customer.
Where Donatello 1978 has already paid for the return shipment by providing a prepaid return shipping label for orders shipped within the European Union, the €20 return shipping cost will remain the responsibility of the customer and will not be refunded, as it represents an actual shipping expense incurred by Donatello 1978.
